Thank
you for your interest in hosting a house party for my campaign. House
parties are essential because they broaden our base, raise money and
encourage people to volunteer. And they are fun and intimate affairs!
With your help, I will be the
first Independent Governor since 1935, and I will fight to restore Oregon to her
former self: a shining example to the nation on so many innovative fronts.
To help you make your party a success, we will provide you the know-how and
technical assistance.
As an Independent Governor, I will bring together the good men and women from
both parties to get to work on the critical issues facing us.
I am committed to rebuilding a rigorous and relevant education system, fostering
a business climate that welcomes innovators and provides good paying jobs, and
encouraging responsible stewardship of our lands to provide recreation, safe
drinking water and clean air. It is time to refashion our health care system so
that it is affordable for everyone, and we must honor the human dignity and
worth of all Oregon’s citizens.
