Ben needs to gather 18,368 signatures by the end of August. You can help
get it done -- whether you gather 10 from your family and friends or 1,000 from
your neighborhood.
STEP 1: Getting
Ready
Getting signatures is easy! Asking people to support Ben's candidacy
can be as simple as:
 |
| |
"Are you tired of
extreme partisan politics and the lack of solutions coming from Salem?
Sign this petition to put Ben Westlund on the ballot as an independent.
Let's give Oregonians the chance to hear what he has to say about the
issues." |
STEP 2:
Download your petition Before
downloading, you will be asked to fill out a sign-up sheet for Ben's campaign.

STEP 4:
Get signatures
First, be sure to read all
instructions carefully, even if you have circulated petitions for other
campaigns.
Any registered Independent voters may sign the petition, and Democrats or
Republicans who did NOT vote in the May Primary Election may sign. All
signatures on a single page must be from voters living in the same county.

STEP 5: Send the petition
sheets back quickly
Even if you have one or two
signatures on your sheet, don't hold on to each sheet for more than a week
or so. Remember, you can always print out more sheets!
